City Launches Community Engagement Series on Police Reform

November 30, 2020 @ 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM UTC-5

Join us for the first session of a community engagement series on police reform—Circles of Truths—hosted by the City of Philadelphia’s Pathways to Reform, Transformation, and Reconciliation.

This virtual event will center around truth-sharing, grief and building a space for healing, discussion, and listening as we work towards building an equitable future for all. As the city and nation continues to reckon with racial disparities, police-involved violence, and continues to mourn the tragic killing of Walter Wallace Jr., the series will provide an opportunity to have dialogue around meaningful change.

The series’ opening session will center on addressing and repairing harm, and gathering collaborative feedback.  Moving forward, it will focus on fostering relationships, community building and the continued development of public safety and policing reforms.

This event will be hosted via Zoom, and a portion of the program will be shown on the Mayor’s Office of Public Engagement Facebook page.  Pre-registration is required.  Register today.
