Loyola alum Fr. Mario M. Powell, SJ ’99 was recently appointed the sixth president of Brooklyn Jesuit Prep. Before his appointment, Fr. Powell served as the director of the REACH Program at Regis High School in Manhattan. Fr. Powell was ordained to the priesthood in June of 2014 at Fordham University Church in the Bronx. He graduated from Loyola in 1999 and earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from Boston College and St. Louis University.Watch the First Episode Here:
